Driving Directions

St George's is conveniently located in beautiful downtown Guelph, overlooking the Speed River. Our location is 99 Woolwich Street.

  • From the East (Erin and Orangeville), take Highway 24 (which becomes Eramosa Road). Just over the river, turn left onto Woolwich Street. The church is on the left-hand side. Or from Rockwood, take Highway 7 (which becomes York Road). Turn right on Wellington Street, which becomes Woolwich Street. The church is on the right-hand side, just past the River Run Centre.
  • From the South (401), take the 401 W to Highway 6 North. Exit at Wellington Street. Turn right onto Wellington. Follow Wellington downtown, where it will become Woolwich Street. The church is on the right-hand side, just past the River Run Centre. Alternatively, take Brock Road North, past the University to Wellington Street. Turn right and follow the above directions.  
  • From the West (Kitchener), take Highway 7 East to Highway 6 South. Go South to the Wellington Street exit. Turn left onto Wellington Street. Follow Wellington downtown, where it will become Woolwich Street. The church is on the right-hand side, just past the River Run Centre. 
  • From the North (Fergus), take Highway 6 South (which becomes Woolwich Street). Follow Woolwich downtown. The church is on the left-hand side. (Fergus), take Highway 6 South (which becomes Woolwich Street). Follow Woolwich downtown.
Our Parking lot is located behind the church. The entrance to the parking lot is next to the footbridge just South of the Church. Note that St. George's parking lot ends underneath the footbridge. It does not include spots South of the bridge. 

Street Parking is available on downtown Guelph streets for free if your vehicle is parked for less than 2 hours.  However, the City of Guelph allows parishoners to park on Woolwich Street for an unlimited amount of time on Sunday morning's only.
